Keeping up to date with your 6 monthly checkup visits with your dentist is essential
Hygiene visits are recommended at either 3/4/6 or 12 month intervals, this is discussed with you at your dental visits. These are essential to maintain optimum gum health and to help avoid gum problems and inflammation (bleeding gums).
To keep composites looking bright you have two maintenance options:
Composite re-poish to lift surface staining (this can be done as often as you feel necessary) - £120
Emily offers a COMPOSITE REFRESH appointment which helps freshen the appearance of composite bonding/veneers. This appointment includes a hygiene treatment (scaling and polishing), air abrasion treatment (stain removal), composite re-polish - £225
Patients generally choose to replace composite bonding/composite veneers after 3-5 years to keep the best aesthetic appearance.
